9.13.23 NGMA Today - Martial Arts in Thibodaux, LA

Today's schedule at Next Generation Martial Arts in Thibodaux, LA

4:30pm Pre-k Martial Arts - Today our instructors will focus on break falls, stand in base and lastly the trap and roll mount escape. Class will finish with some grappling rounds and a game.

5:30pm Kid's Guerrilla Jiu-Jitsu - Class will begin with a typical warm up and Mount 102. Once dispersed in groups we will cover the takedowns needed for each belt rank. As we did on Monday. Class will end with rounds of grappling.

Parents, we are planning to have monthly stripe promotions and belt promotions. First promotion day will be Mon. Oct. 2nd. This class will start at 5:15 to give a few extra needed minutes for promotions.

6:30pm Adult Guerrilla Jiu-Jitsu (Gi) - Class agenda for this evening is top half guard. Dr. Josh is covering the underhook pass from top half guard guard. Be ready for lots of movement and rolls to finish out class. We have a handful of guys that need the rounds for competition preparation.

6:30pm Adult TaeKwonDo - will be integrated into our MMA class since tonight will be focused on striking.

6:30pm Adult Striking - Basic boxing combo 1-4 followed by 4 count add on's. We will also integrate wrestling shots off of our combos. Class will end with sparring rounds.
