12:00pm Adult Guerrilla Jiu-Jitsu (Gi) - Today we are continuing our NGMA open guard passing systems. We are covering a passing hub that is often used to beat the butterfly guard, a position we call "2 on 1". This position is the fifth hub in our open guard passing system and connects well to other passing hubs and individual passes. The "2 on 1" is a solid point of control if you are looking to slow things down from top control.

6:30pm Adult Self Defense/Combatives (Gi) - In class this evening we are working on defending chokes. Specifically, guillotine and standing rear choke (RNC). These two chokes are common chokes that most individuals have seen and are common in altercations. Also, knowing those choke defenses are part of our test for blue belt promotion. If time permits we will work on defending other choke techniques as well.
