Today's Class Schedule at Next Generation Martial Arts in Thibodaux, LA

Grant receives his White/Grey belt in our Pre-K Martial Arts program

4:30pm Pre-K Martial Arts - This week our pre-k class will be focused on developing their jumping jacks and cross. The cross is a straight power punch from boxing, it's also known a "2". If possible, remind your little ones before class that stripes are awarded based on class behavior.

5:30pm Kid's Guerrilla Jiu-Jitsu - The kids will be working on controlling dominant position and transitions. Each individual rank will be focused on a specific position. Bonus techniques will be taught once groups are up to speed.

6:30pm Adult Guerrilla Jiu-Jitsu (GI) - One of the most useful open guards there is, is the Butterfly guard. It works well in Gi, NoGi, and MMA. The main reason for this is because of it's positioning. If you are playing it, you are always looking to be in a seated position. This gives you a better opportunity to get yourself back to your feet while maintaining a clinch on your opponent.

6:30pm Adult Taekwondo

6:30pm Adult MMA - This evening we will work on a combinations and wall fighting.
