8.16.23 NGMA Today - Martial Arts in Thibodaux, LA

Today's schedule at Next Generation Martial Arts in Thibodaux, LA

4:30pm Pre-Martial Arts- Today's class will be a repeat from Monday. We are reviewing the push up and Mount position. Mount is a dominant position that can give your child control of an aggressor after a takedown.

Kids Martial Arts Classes

5:30pm Kid's Guerrilla Jiu-Jitsu - We will continue practicing our escapes from dominant positions. White belts will focus on learning each position. Gray/white belts will be focused on side control escapes. Gray belts will work Mount escapes. Lastly, Gray/Black on up will be working back control escape.

6:30pm Adult Guerrilla Jiu-Jitsu (Gi)- Tonight will be our last class of our open guard passing training block. The position covered will be "Inside Left" hub. The base pass from here is the long step pass.

6:30pm Adult Taekwondo

6:30pm Adult MMA- We will be covering fundamental striking and closed guard control to minimize damage (damage control guard).
